Demos @Dunn - Peer reviewed and primary resources

What does my professor mean by "find a peer reviewed article"?  Where can I find primary resources for my history paper?  How do I know if an article is a primary or secondary resource?

This demo will show what elements to look for in peer reviewed articles and how to search for peer reviewed articles in Dunn Library databases.  We will also look at differences between primary resources and secondary resources and how they differ based on discipline.

Demos @Dunn will be offered in the Craven Room in Dunn Library Wednesdays @3:30pm.  Bring your citations, references, papers, and your own laptop (if you have one) and see how easy library research can be.

At each demo we will have an attendance form. You can summarize what you have learned, note what additional questions you have and, if requested, turn it in to an instructor.
