Simpson College is honored to present an evening with Anthony Ray Hinton, death row exoneree, acclaimed author, and criminal justice advocate. Mr. Hinton will share his story of wrongful conviction, survival on Alabama's death row, and his decades-long journey to exoneration and freedom. He is now free after 30 years, and will join us to share his story and discuss the changes that need to be made to prevent these injustices from happening to other innocent people.

The presentation will be followed by a Q&A session + 30-minute book signing of his New York Times Bestseller The Sun Does Shine: How I Found Life, Freedom, and Justice. A bookseller will be available for on-site purchases. Open to the public, completely free, & non-ticketed. The event will not be recorded, so be sure to attend if you're at all interested.
