One of the most beloved traditions of Advent and Christmas from England is a form of worship known as the Festival of Lessons & Carols. This service was adapted for use in King's College Chapel, Cambridge, in 1918 for schools and colleges where it was not possible to celebrate Christmas during term-time. The service, in word and music, proclaims the story of humankind's need for atonement and salvation climaxing in the event of the Incarnation.
Seating is general admission, but you must register to attend the event. Doors open 45 minutes before the start of the service. Follow the link to register (free of charge) for the event.
