About this Event
701 N C St, Indianola, IA 50125, USA
Involving students in research benefits both students and faculty. In this roundtable, panelists from different divisions of the college will answer questions about how they recruit student researchers, what they ask students to do, how they work with the students, and how they and their students have benefited from the collaboration. The roundtable will be interactive, so come prepared to ask questions and offer comments. The panelists will be Don Evans (psychology), Nic Rey-le Lorier (physics), and Nick Proctor (history).
The Faculty Research Roundtable is designed to foster discussions of the research, scholarship, or creative endeavors of Simpson faculty. All members of the Simpson community are invited to attend. Faculty and staff who attend can pick up a lunch pass from the Information Desk at the Kent Campus Center, grab something to eat from ABP or Tyler’s, and then come to the Fleming Room.
