Service is in our DNA! Spend a day at Simpson College to learn how our students give back and connect with our community and beyond. While you are on campus, you will learn about the variety of ways our students volunteer and serve our community, tour campus, participate in a service project, and have the option to meet with Storm Athletics or Performing Arts at the end of the day.
*By participating in this day, you will complete one hour of service on campus.

9 a.m. Check in, Kent Campus Center Atrium
9:15 a.m. Welcome
9:30-11 a.m. Service Sessions
-Service Learning and Community Engagement
Learn how Simpson integrates service in its courses to enhance student growth and enrich the learning experience for our students, all while benefiting the common good.
-Civic Engagement & Politics
Discover the ways our students engage in politics through volunteer work and engage the campus and broader community through their efforts.
-Travel & Service
Simpson offers multiple ways to give back through unique travel opportunities. Learn about our alternative spring break trips, May Term travel courses, and other exciting opportunities.
11 a.m. Campus Tour
Noon p.m. Lunch featuring a panel of our community partners
1 p.m. Get ready to serve! Rotate between service project stations set up on campus. The Helping Hand (food and clothing pantry) and Wesley Life (senior center) are joining us so far! You can receive an hour of service--be sure to bring your paperwork!
2:15 p.m. Closing Session
