The Vivo Chamber Players will be presenting a recital at 7:00 pm on Friday, November 1st, in Lekberg Hall of the Amy Robertson Music Center.
Repertoire will include the Pastorale for Flute, Horn, and Piano by American composer Eric Ewazen and the Serenade for Strings by Czech composer Josef Suk.
The recital will be followed by a reception at which members of the audience may visit with the performers. The performance and reception are free and open to the public.
Vivo is a chamber ensemble comprised of the Simpson College instrumental faculty, and guest-artist string players who are affiliated with the Simpson College Community Orchestra. The mission of Vivo is to perform family-friendly concerts, featuring the music of a wide variety of composers, for the benefit of the Simpson and Indianola Communities.
